Behind the scenes at our latest photo shoot!

Yesterday, ML braved the snow and frigid temperatures for a visit to the Boulder showroom of è bella, a local purveyor of beautiful, modern rugs and pillows — all made of renewable, biodegradable alpaca yarn and handcrafted by Peruvian weavers.

“We practically rearranged the entire store to get the perfect shot,” says art director Loneta Showell, who worked with longtime ML photographer Michael Shopenn. “They have such a wide array of beautiful patterns, colors and textures, we had a hard time deciding what to shoot — so we just kept taking pictures!”

You can see more of the chic and cheerful showroom — and learn more about è bella’s products and visionary owner Nicole Linton — in our March/April 2010 issue, on newsstands March 2!
