Green Festival, the largest green consumer festival in the US, has been making its way among four major cities for eight years now, and this year, the festival adds a new city to its circuit: Denver, Colorado. The event is a gathering to explore sustainable solutions of all kinds, and if you’re anywhere near the Mile High City on May 2 and 3, head to the Colorado Convention Center for more than 125 speakers, 350 local and national green businesses and a strong showing of community groups (event hours are 10 am to 7 pm on Saturday and 11 am to 6 pm on Sunday). All shades of green topics are put on the table, from renewable energy to eco-fashions and green parenting. Tickets cost $15 for both days, or arrive by bicycle and pay only $10.
