Tickets are now on sale to the public for the Denver Art Museum’s (DAM) highly anticipated Tutankhamun: The Golden King and the Great Pharaohs, a touring exhibition featuring more than 100 treasures from the tomb of the pharaoh King Tut and additional ancient sites. The exhibition will make its debut and sole Rocky Mountain appearance at DAM from June 29, 2010 through January 9, 2011.
“This is an exciting time for the Denver Art Museum as we prepare to welcome King Tut’s treasures, some of the most exquisite art objects from ancient Egypt,” says Christoph Heinrich, director of the DAM.
DAM members can purchase King Tut exhibition tickets ($20 weekday; $22 weekends) at www.denverartmuseum.org or by calling 720-865-5000.
