If you’re anything like us, and architecture and home design are more exciting than the average topic of conversation, then this conference is well worth the trip to Bozeman, Montana. Called Designing the New West, the gathering draws the Rocky Mountain region’s top architects, developers, land planners and landscape designers—with inspiring ideas in tow, plus the scoop on the trends that are shaping our mountain region.
Event highlights include visits to a green home site, a look at the most recent development forecast in the West, plenty of panel discussions and presentations on innovative projects, and a chance to swap thoughts and rub elbows with the leading voices in the field. It all happens on April 16th and 17th at the historic Gallatin Gateway Inn, which happens to be a feat of architectural ingenuity itself. (The 42,000-square-foot Spanish-style building was raised in 1927 in a mere four months, and the hotel’s opening overshadowed news of Lindbergh’s transatlantic flight in Montana headlines.)
Check out the details of the event, put on by NewWest.Net and the Sonoran Institute, right here. We might even see you there.
